Pauline Vaughan M.A.(Psych.) D.Ac.
Pauline Vaughan M.A.(Psych.) D.Ac. has been in private practice for more than two decades providing alternative health
care and psychotherapy. She holds an international diploma of acupuncture from the International University of Alternative
Medicine, and studied Chinese Herbal Science for three years at the Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute in Montana. She also studied
Integrative Five Element Acupuncture with renowned author and teacher Lonny Jarrett . She has studied Japanese acupuncture
with Kiiko Matsumoto, and is currently pursuing further training in Japanese acupuncture. She has also trained with Dr. Richard
Tan in San Diego Pauline is registered with the Ontario Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She also holds a master of arts degree in clinical psychology, and trained in psychotherapy skills at the Gestalt institute
of Cleveland. She is former director of the Gestalt Institute of Upper Canada, where she provided training in psychotherapy
skills to physicians, psychologists and social workers.
Pauline has been happily married for 31 years, and has raised
three wonderful daughters. She lives with her husband , dog, cat and fish . In her spare time (what spare time?) she
walks her border collie, in the woods behind her house and plays celtic harp.
